Winston-Salem is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Winston-Salem is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I've been here so many times for pastry and coffee, always excellent but for the last 3 weeks I ordered whole cakes and large entremet for my birthday, husband's and brother in law's. I extremely recommended if you have party or any celebration.

I had such a wonderful visit to this bakery. The atmosphere is lovely and everything tastes incredibly fresh. The attention to detail here is impressive. I especially loved the latte art, which was almost too pretty to drink. Every pastry we ordered was perfectly baked and flaky. It is definitely my new favorite spot in Winston-Salem.

I’ve been to Bobby Boy many times, and I’ve never regretted indulging in their sweets. I absolutely love their croissants—especially the almond and chocolate, which are my favorites. I’ve also tried the quiche several times, and the flatbread is excellent with subtle, well-balanced flavors. For desserts, the éclairs are outstanding. I’ve also tried a variety of their small cakes—everything looks so beautifully presented that it’s hard to resist trying more. The coffee is good, though I think there’s still a bit of room for improvement in flavor. The only downside I noticed at the new location is the lack of Wi-Fi. I had to rely on my hotspot, which wasn’t ideal since the cellular signal isn’t very strong there.

One thing about me is I LOVE a great bakery. You can't just be any bakery, there has to be a uniqueness to your style and flavors and BOBBY BOY has definitely understood the assignment babyyyyy. Very long line bit it moved so fast you never would notice so dont let the line cause you to make the biggest mistake of your life. Atmosphere was so welcoming and the display cases were just phenomenal. Just left about 30 minutes ago and on my way to double back on the Keylime raspberry croissants

what I love most about Bobby Boys is the service. Everyone is always so pleasant and it feels so peaceful and calm in the shop No matter how long the line is. But maybe my favorite thing but Bobby boys is the care that they take when making my tea. I get the Westminster. And so many people here have beautiful coffee drinks. i’m trying to list my go to items, my personal faves are the pastries and the quiche! they make them phenomenal twice bakedchocolate, croissant, and danishes with all the right fruits in them. I’m not interested in eating cream filled eclairs or the super cute french patisserie, but my partner gets them and he loves them. The quiche, freshly made daily, comes with a huge serving of arugula, lightly dressed with lemon and salt and pepper, which is my favorite way to enjoy greens. Have I mentioned that they make their own bread here? It might be the only place you can get a spelt loaf for $8! Because it’s this time of year, November/December and the holidays are upon us, I should addthe creamy tomato soup and a wedge of their pumpkin bread As two “my favorite things”… 😉 Possibly, being new to the area, I really just like how many people are in both of the shop
